These players are old and perform on a high level, but they don't get better anymore.

Appears to me [no hard evidence] in just looking at the xfer market. That the senior players aren’t being bid on as much. Over 30 players appear to be not at all. Just my opinion but maybe small decreases in PC from 30 to 32, with bigger hits from there on out.

In today’s medical world I think you are going to see a lot more players playing at peak from age 30 to 35. An not because of roids! But just better knowledge and equipment for training, and less intrusive surgery to fix major medical issues. Not to mention that the NFL is becoming nothing more then a Sunday beer league flag football game!

Players of 30 and over have always been very unloved on the TM.
I don't think their value has fallen recently because I think it always was absolutely rock bottom anyway.

Farve sure got better with age. Jerry Rice got better each season. I know I would have rather had the older Wa l t e r Peyton then the one the first couple of seasons. I know I sure wouldn't be betting against Peyton Manning this year. Reports out of Denver say he is at a higher level now then ever before and it is just OTA'S. Now that is a scary thought!

By the time 90% percent of players get to NFL they are done maturing from a physical standpoint. Mostly the improvment is knowledge of their specific position and roll on a team.

I have lost out on bids for players over 30 pretty regular last season. Haven't bid on any this year. I did notice the last couple of days that none were being bid on. But the TM market is so far out of wack that it doesn't make much sense anyway. The whole economic situation is really stupid at this point and could be doing harm to the growth of RZA if it continues as is.

Look at the builds of the older players. I'll use the 28 year old QB as an example. His skills are nowhere near what I would expect for a 28 year old player. There is no way that player would ever see the field for my team, even if I was guaranteed to have him until he was 35.

I’m trying to look at this from a “whole” league view. Yes there is no question that youngplayers have way more upside gain then an older one. The question is the decreasing skill rate. Really should have a game IQ rating to go with it. No question that an older player has way more smarts then a young one when it comes to game experience.
The other question is just where do you expect new players to get players when teams are bidding on 5 plus players at a time? I think RZA is getting in to trouble by doing this, nothing more and time will tell.

Once your stadium is maxed then you start saving up. This is the crazy time of the TM each season. I would say that there are 2 distinct parts of a season when the TM catches fire in differing degrees.

It's hottest time is now, right after the draft when all those draft players start going on the market. After this stage it will start to cool down with a small surge of pretty good players who were displaced by the draft players.

It will stay quiet outside the occassional FA draft player that may show up at random.

The smaller stage is the time right before the draft when people start to unload some players before they age or to fit their draft plans.

Sorry, but you're here 3 months already and your stadium (the main financial resource) is 7500. You don't need to buy any players with such instable financial base

I'm not buying any players, lol who said I was? I very fine with my team at the moment. Sure could use a few players but they are young and coming along nicely. Made it to Super Bowl 2.2 with them by the way!

I'm not selling out my stadium as is, why should I add on? Holy cow no wonder the Euro and doller are in the mess they are in. Speaking of which just how many 100,000 plus stadiums are there in the world? I can think of 2 and both are University stadiums. Michigan and THE Ohio State.
