I recently discovered there are some things in the offense playbook that are not too advisable, some plays that tend to become turnovers. What about defense, is there a formation that sucks in this engine? or blitz %, should it be high, low or what?

The 4-3 could be the formation to avoid for defense. This has been subject to much debate on the forum.

long and medium passes are risky - just like they can be in real life. Middle passes can also be dangerous.

4-3-4 defense has it's uses but is overly (IMO) weak - so as a basic set you might rather use a 3-4-4.

blitz% - depends on your personnel and what type of game you want to play.

Is a fumble always skill related (ie just loses the ball) or can it also be that it got knocked out by a defender or after a hit by a defensive player?

There are more forced fumbles than normal fumbles in RZA.
You see it at the game stats first page.

Is there a place where you can see the accumulated MVP score for all players in the team?

.....or is it only possible to see if you crawl through all of them individually?

I notice my OG's get a lot less action than my OT's.

So do most people stick their best OL's at Tackle?

It´s depending on the prefered defense formation off your opponent
