Have you opened your HR dept yet?

If not open it and do the contracts. You can save around 10% of their normal weekly wage. Careful though - some of the new acquisition players will be real cheap right now if you aren't DR already and would cost you more to contract them.

But anyway - make sure around 3 really bad players are your best paid and they will be auto cut 1st.

You just need to hold on for about 3 more training's.

If you are already doing contracts then about all you can do is fire staff and demolish training facilities (if that gets you in the black).

Do I only lose one player each week?

Just overpaid the 3 of the worst ones here, it may help me a lot. I wish I had asked for help before.

I read the economy page... the thing was I really did more bids than I could (forgot to refresh the page and bid the double of the number I wanted). I'm already in stage 3 of the financial warning, with 2,2 millions in red. Nothing I can't overcome in the first official game, but the problem was everything happened when there were no scheduled to be played for a long time.

Yes, it's only 1 per week.

If I were you, I would be happy to lose the expensive wages, and restart my teambuilding. Don´t forget to sell some players if you buy that much.

This was me last offseason. There's nothing you can do now to change anything, and you'll just have to accept the punishment. Its a hard lesson to learn but you're far from being the first GM to do this.

It seems harsh but I went through it and survived, and you will do so too. My stadium was maxed which means this season I've hired a full coaching & backroom staff, spent around $39M on the transfer market, and will still come out with around $28M in the bank. And next season will be even better, contracts are all sorted through the HR department and the money will continue to roll in. Losing my best CB hurt, and I couldn't afford him when I put him on the market as a free agent, but CBs are easy to come by and I've moved on.

If you had to put a % on how important TC is what would it be? So to clarify, same two players, one with 10% TC and the other with 100%. How much better does the 100% TC perform?

With the draft over. Would it be smart for a new team only a couple weeks old to sell a draft pick?

Personally, I would wait until the market settles down a bit. It's a buyers market at the moment. If you do choose to sell your draft picks, that income will go a long way towards building your stadium and quickening the rate at which you become competitive.

If it's a high quality pick people are spending big bucks for those.
