The manual states the following about the Depth Chart:

manual wrote:
If you set more than one player per position, the depth chart uses an algorithm based on physical condition to determine which player offers the team the best chance to win.

I hope this is solely based on physical condition? The word algorithm seems to suggest something more complex.

Example: let's say I have 2 x WR on DC:

1. WR 4* - physical condition 89% - first string box is NOT ticked
2. WR 1* - physical condition 88% - first string box is NOT ticked

I hope it would always pick WR 1 and never 2 (consider a 85% substitution setting).
If WR1 plays a snap and drops to 87% WR2 would be selected and so forth.

Correct right?

Correct as far as I know.
But maybe you change the wording from PC to "in-game PC" just to avoid somebody missunderstanding that...

Yes good point.

Additional question: if I have my DC as follows:

WR1
WR2
WR3 - ticked 1st string box
WR4

Consider all in-game PC to be equal, which WR will the game engine pick? WR3 right?

Yes, WR3 as long he is not hurt in-game

I would add that WR3 would play until is PC goes bellow the limit you set up in the global game settings.

Afaik that is wrong (in this case), if the number of first string WRs is smaller than the number of WRs needed the first stringers will play every snap (unless they are injured).

First string is always* selected.
When needed, the engine adds players (the algorithm), within the same position.
If the DC does not have enough players for that position, the engine picks a player (random).

When more than one player is first string, the alogorithm apllies when needed.

*except when not possible

Hey,

You'll always find someone to help you in RZA, but it might be a good idea to get a mentor or read the manual. Because lots of very helpful players would say the answer to your problem is

How important Intelligence is for pass catchers? For a Division 1 WR / TE / RB / FB, I guess you want something between 40 - 45. And for elite between 45 - 50. Am I right in my assumptions?
