How important Intelligence is for pass catchers? For a Division 1 WR / TE / RB / FB, I guess you want something between 40 - 45. And for elite between 45 - 50. Am I right in my assumptions?

Someone from Elite (can't remember who) was bragging about their star WRs who all had low INT...not all accepted wisdom might be wisdom

Obviously just like any other attribute the higher the better but I think these requirements are a bit extreme. This WR has 33.3 INT yet he was one of the only 3 Elite WR to catch over 2,000 yards last season and 5th in the league with 17 TDs.

By the formula I understood that the higher INT for the pass catcher, the less INT the QB will throw when the ball is coming to their way, is that correct? So we ideally would want the WR to have a high level of INT, maybe the same tier than Speed or Catching? Or lower?

"Obviously just like any other attribute the higher the better."

This is valid for everything, speed, intelligence, catching, positioning, experience, strength, agility, etc...

So yes, ideally you would want a 5* EXP, 50 Passing, 50 Vision, 50 Speed, 50 Strength, 50 Agility QB throwing to a 50 INT, 50 Speed, 50 Strength, 50 Catching, 50 Agility WR to avoid interceptions but even then you would probably still throw interceptions and these players don't exist so just make the best possible team you can with the players you have and stop worrying about minimum requirements.

Thanks for the tip

Also always remember that the difference between a 0 INT and a 50 INT WR is only 75% vs 100% of max INT! Once you remember that you take less importance in these, indeed, extreme stats requirements.

Take all that time you spent looking for these players and spend it on your Playbook and I'll guarantee better results

Good tip as well. I am planning to start with the PB this season finally.

Yeah. I said something similar in another thread - like many of my players don't have the 'minimum requirements' but I've managed to win games, get to the Elite etc. I think too many people worry about getting the 'perfect players'. Getting even one is hard let alone a whole team full

No fumbles for catches.
