I have players in my Youth Academy listed as DL with 2-star rating and high talent of 4.5-stars, but when I look at their ratings for other positions eg CB, SF, LB or G they have a 2.5-star rating. Why are they listed as DL when they are probably more suited to those other positions?
How do I s e l e c t players more suited to the DL when most have probably come from Youth Pulls as I can scout draft players to see what they are more suited to? Or is it just a lottery? |

It's just a matter of stats regarding those ratings. They show the rating of the player for those position based on current skill values. Example: players has TAC 15, VIS 15 and FOO 10. Assuming for DL all 3 skills are needed the average is 13.3 and that might be translated to 1.5 stars. Assuming as LB you only need TAC and VIS the average is 15, which gets maybe translated as 2 stars. Likely more factors go into the mix, but you get the approach of those stars I guess. In general every player can be trained into certain positions and will get better in the ratings, once you train their needed skills. Sure, some non trainable skills are better suited for certain positions, see manual or my guide, but you can train a good DL with time and training into a good QB, if you train PAS. Usually you should take a look at the players physical skills, max them out to red cap, take a look at INT and TW and then put them where they can be used best and are suited best and are needed. Of cause you can only work with what you have, so if you have a 46 SPE guy with 35 INT and that's the only guy available and you need a QB .... well, either live with the not so optimal INT value or look in the transfer market for a better QB and make that guy a WR, a RB or what ever else might be OK. Is there a place I can go or click on that will show or list my transactions? Like hiring or firing of players and/or coaches, when it happened? Something of that nature? Thanks.

There is somewhere we can see in which "week" of the season we are? In the top left displays the season and the day (x of 78) but I would like to know how many weekly updates we had and how many are left in a more direct way (with no need to take a look in the calendar and do it manually).

Easiest way for me is to count the Wednesdays and Sundays on the Calender on my team page. The rollover is maked there, so you see, when season ends. Last edited on 2020-11-02 11:54:51 by jack6 |
