Do the more experienced managers use the Safety Blitz at all? Which Safety does the blitzing, the SS, FS or both? Thanks!

I never use it.

And in Elite no one against me didn't used it also.

Near my goal line if I think my opponent is going to pass I use a SF (better with fearsome trait) blitz to put pressure on his QB.
I think leaving the SF in cover it is pointless because of the lack of room from the line of scrimmage and the goal line.

just my opinion...

Both FS and SS can blitz.
You cannot choose if they are both on the field.
You can blitz FS using 4-4-3 where SS is not on the field.

0:30 1 and goal to go on opp 8, Samir Jabir (OC) snaps the ball to Uffe Jensen (QB), Uffe Jensen (QB) selected Davis Coons (HB/L) as target, Mervin Youngblood (OLB/R) seems to go for the blitz, he passes outer left for 8 yards to him, intercepted by Terrell Sharpe (FS/R) on the opp 1 for inches (Pro set vs. 3-4-4) more

No need for a database of plays as this was pretty memorable for me. As it was 30 seconds left in the fourth quarter and I was trailing by 2 at the time.

good for you!
I have plenty of these...

Q3 10:14 1 and goal to go on opp 10, Fritz Horn (OC) snaps the ball to Yuichi Miki (QB), Yuichi Miki (QB) selected Dong-Min Pyo (WR/R) as target, Alessandro Manganelli (DE/L) breaks through the line, Angelo Coccoli (MLB) seems to go for the blitz, the pass goes inner right to the receiver, who catches the ball, tackled by Donato Lazzarotto (SS/L), forward progress: 10 yards (Singleback Spread vs. 3-4-4) more

Touchdown

That's why it's so memorable! The SF makes an extremely rare play (on a throw to a RB) in the most clutch situation possible. So very rare, but allowed me to grab defeat from the jaws of victory.

I love the oddities, like Scorigami, and I'm actually happy that I got to be one of the teams involved in this unique experience.

Fearsome trait, that's part of the reason I asked. I have a defensive back that recently came out of my youth academy. He was at CB, but he has high intelligence and the fearsome trait, so I moved him to Safety. That got me thinking of the Safety Blitz. I've yet to really use it, but he seems tailor fit for an occasional Safety Blitz, particularly around the goal line. I guess I'll just have to experiment and find out. I was curious what others thought though too. Thanks again!

Better make him LB instead of SF.

He only has a 42 Strength, good speed though at 50. I thought 42 Str seemed a little low for a linebacker.

Is a 42.3 Strength enough for an outside linebacker? Or do most experienced managers prefer more STR in their outside linebackers? The player I'm referring to has a 50 Speed, 43 Intelligence and the Fearsome trait. Right now I have him at SS, but if he is good to go at Outside Linebacker, I'd much prefer to put him there. That would allow me to take the outside linebacker he's replacing, who has 49.5 STR/50 Speed/46 Int and move him to Middle Linebacker. Assuming of course that a 42.3 STR works for Outside Linebacker? Thanks!

Currently my #3 OLB is 42 str. (Next season he will be my #2).

Speed is most important for OLB. Sure you like to have stronger but for pass rush fearsome and coverage I wouldn't worry much bout it.

I do like your 49.5/50 46 intel guy at MLB. Thats a MUCH more active and important position.
