Based on what starting experience? Even a 0,5* youth player can get to 5* after 6-8 seasons of playing the mentioned games/plays?

And do different positions gain exp differently? I'm asking this since my QB has played 149 games and 8503 plays and he's at 3* exp. If I calculate with the middle numbers 7*30*40 = 8400. So he should be at 5* by now...

0.5 is the start. You will have to differ between friendlies, league and cup/PO games, the experience factor is different. The mentioned "formula" above is valid for the average (=league games)

I just double checked and the Playerlist/Career stats shows stats without fiendly games. So 149 games and 8503 plays with both league and SC games in them. But as far as gained EXP per play goes, SC games give more as you've said, so that should mean a lot more league game based EXP gain (the average in your example) than 8503 plays. Maybe around 10k?

So again, I don't understand how my QB can have only 3* EXP?
And I'm sure he didn't start at 0,5* EXP when I got my team either.

i have a player that have been playing ol and later dl and i have had him since season 1, first day.
he got the following in official games

Matches 172
Plays 7057

And he have only 2* EXP... Now thats low exp for that kind of plays..

OK, checked it again

if number of games per season=30 and average number of plays between 30 and 50...he will hit the maximum after around 8 seasons...based on official games only. now add some small progress made in friendlies...this makes it 6 to 8 seasons...

Is the 50 plays some kind of a limit? What I mean is if a player had more plays than 50 in a game will he get the experience for the max of 50 plays? I'm asking this because my QB had games where he got 70-80 snaps (I'm not subing him) and if those extra 20-30 plays went to waste, then at least I'd have an answer to why he's not 5* EXP by now.

If he has 200 plays he will collect for 200 plays, if he is playing 1, he is getting experience for 1 play...

Okay. So still no explanation why he's at 3* EXP after 8500 plays (and this might sound like I'm fixated on my QB, but if I looked I'm sure I'd find other positions with similar problems)

Just to double check...

Is the 27th, the very last day to promote someone from the YA to your Senior squad and to sign any remaining players (including promoted YA guys) in the HR department?

I've got a couple 20 year old players that I want to get a last couple YA bonus points on but want to make sure I don't mess up and lose them.

Yep, the 27th is the final day to do it. If you want to play it safe you could promote them after their training on the 24th, since they won't get any training done anyway in those 3 days inbetween. Of course this will mean less time for their free position change period as well.

There's a 20yo I have my eye on but have 21 players in YA and already promoted 6 players. If I sign another player who's <20 on the same day will they both go into the youth academy? Or will the 20yo go senior team and <20 guy go into YA?

Don't want to sign him and lose him because can't promote to senior squad...
