1:03 touchdown

A fumble recovery for a TD. Unbelivable! A 99-yard fumble recovery TD would have been better for me.

Somewhere back in my head I remember a NFL rule which forbids fumbling forward (in the last 2 minutes)... Do we have this here?

I think the rule is something like it can only be recovered by the fumbling player. If anyone else recovers then it comes back to the spot of the fumble.

Hm, could you post a link? No, there is no such rule in the engine

Some information from Here

A.R. 11.1 Third-and-goal on B2. Runner A1 goes to the goal line with the ball over the plane of the goal line. He is
tackled, fumbles, and the defensive team recovers in the end zone.
Ruling: Touchdown. The ball is automatically dead at the instant of legal player possession on the
opponent’s goal line.

So if fumble was in the end zone - it is touchdown.

Here you go...

It says: "If any player fumbles after the two-minute warning in a half, only the fumbling player is permitted to recover and/or advance the ball. If recovered by any other offensive player, the ball is dead at the spot of the fumble unless it is recovered behind the spot of the fumble. In that case, the ball is dead at the spot of recovery."

what a non-sense,IMO. Do we really need ti implement this, or can we put that on our list of rule exceptions? I mean, is this considered to be important?

I didn't know that rule existed.

I wouldn't bother implementing it, it would only serve to complicate things. We'd rather have more fundamental aspects of the sim addressed first (Improved specials teams, 2pt conversions etc...)
