Is it because we are all throwing short passes or why are the Top 12 Interceptionmakers of the Season are all LB?

The first Backfieldplayer is at the 13 Spot a CB!

Would be realy nice to see the lenght of the pass and the YAC to determin where to put my fastest guys to have the max out of an Int

I think tactical skills play also a huge part. Draft LB have better tactical skills than draft CB.

LBs are the best interceptors because they have the best levels of VIS, POS and INT out of all defenders IMO

I think that it's the range of the passes.

LBs are in the short areas -> get more often the ball in their areas -> more ints.

But if it is that easy shouldn't we all start throwing to the outside, regardless how deep?

But following your thought, short passes, screen passes are also very dificult to intercept. (Or they should)

I think short passes (the "pass" option, as opposed to "pass medium" or "pass deep") are harder to intercept. However, I'm guessing most RZA offenses throw 90+% short passes and very few medium or long. So LBs see a lot of passes.

One of MANY flaws in my Playbook is I don't have any medium or long pass plays.....
