You could just take the global rankings and compile the teams for each league and have either an average ranking or composite ranking.

Of course using the rankings probably wouldn't be accurate. Consider the following:
The league with the most top 10 teams is Monarchs with 4. The league with the most top 25 is Monarchs with 6, Admirals are second with 4. The league with the most top 50 teams is a Tie between Thunder and Monarchs with 9 each. the league with the most top 100 teams is Thunder with 17, second is Admirals with 16. BTW, Galaxy have 1 team in the top 25. Galaxy have 3 teams in the top 50. Dragons have the least amount with only 8 in the top 100. In fact Dragons has only 2 teams in the top 25 and both are in 2.x leagues. Let's compare Dragons and Thunder with the data of 1. Teams above .500 record and 2. number of bots. Dragons have 43 teams above .500 record. (15 in 1.1, 15, 13 in 2.x) Thunder have 35 teams above .500 record. (11,13,11) Dragons have 21 bot teams (6 in 1.1, 4, 11 in 2.x) thunder have 22 bot teams (3,7,12) On second thought, please don't use the current global rankings to determine the best league! lol |

Not can determine the "best league" Also not can determine the "best team" so dont use to determine the best team overall global The current ranking only is worth to have for a league itself, but putting all teams together for global is worth nothing as long the values are not adjusted by "league strength" itself to make the values comparable - normally it is easy index statistic for math guys. But I cannot develop that thing on the test platform, due lack of teams.. |

Well done At least mentioning that something is wrong and you know that on a word made by turtle is more truth than wrong should be help enough and to open eyes instead just keep my mouth close. To make a valid suggestion this would mean i had to work close on this item But i do support the game already so this is fine for me But please feel free to ask me even to keep my mouth close on this issues I stopped already posting my "sarcastic" comments when a "flaw" is found months after comes into game - i can stop posting even plain comments and thoughts  |

C'mon, you have something in mind...why not telling about. A start could be about what should be in such a formula, what you did already. Now make this second step...

I've got one or two thoughts about the Global Ranking, but I don't think I should post here for 2 reasons (a) it will Hijack Steve's thread ....and thread hijacking is seriously bad forum decorum, I'd never dream of doing such a thing 
(b) Pete mentioned that Global Ranking is "a work in progress" ....so does that mean comments are 'off limits' until the Global Ranking moves from Beta test to Live ? I can open a new thread ..... but only if that's OK ...... I don't want to start a 'firestorm' .... |
