There's been some talk about this in the discussions forum and people seem to like the idea of giving the natural leader trait to linebackers too. Basically if there's a leader in the offense (the QB) then it's only natural that there's a leader in defense as well. No pun intended.
If it can be implemented to only give MLBs the vision bonus then even better, but I don't know if it's possible to separate which position benefits from a trait bonus by DC position. |

I completly agree with this post. In my opinion, the MLB is the second most important position in football, and the captains of defense.

Pete seems to acknowledge the fact that the MLB is key factor on defense by valuing INT at that position. I totally agree that this player is usually the "QB" of the defense. Any football fan could easily produce a list of MLB's that would fit this description. Ray Nitschke Dick Butkus Ray Lewis Mike Singletary Jack Ham Brian Urlacher Fish

Since I stared the last thread regarding Natural Leader I thought I would add my piece. I would expanded it beyond QB & MLB
All Defence benefits from better vision. and this is a vision bonus. So I would see this as a wild card trait that can be used by most positions |

So if at all I would only add the trait benefit to LBs... but I think it's also appropriate the keep it as it is that only the QB will benefit from that trait (there are also other traits which affects only certain positions and I think that's good as it is  ) |

I think that one position on D and O should have this trait.
On O it clear it the QB But on D in real life can vary from LB, DE, Safety or even CB In this game though it clear that the MLB is the clear leader So I would have it so it only effect LB playing at MLB 1 |

Yep, all credit goes to petef for the original post.
But I have to agree with preachie, the trait name implies that only the leader benefits from the bonus which is usually the MLB in defense. Sure, I'd like an overall vision bonus trait as much as the next guy but having this trait expanded to at least LBs would be more than enough imo. |

If he doesnt have that he is a waste...IMO If the trait covered all LB at least that would offer an alternative |

I think the only possible players that could use this are QB, Center (a smart center that sees the blitz can make changes on the line), MLB, and safety (there have been many a safety that are the leaders of the defense as they can see the whole field).
