A pleasant surprise when I went online today and saw the background here. A nice write up on the news section too. Very cool.
Thanks Pete. |

Pete, as you seem to be a bit of an 'Anglophile' , I can thoroughly recommend a Fawlty Towers or Father Ted DVD boxset. Fawlty Towers was only 12 episodes ( I think), and John Cleese stars in it and co-wrote it. Father Ted is based in Ireland , but you know Ireland well ...they have an excellent sense of humour..... no surprise to see an excellent comedy series coming from Ireland. |

I'm absolutely not into cars and don't like to talk or hear about it, but Top Gear is just fantastic. Two days ago amazon sent me my "Great Adventures 1-4"-box and I'm already halfway through it. You shouldn't miss "Fawlty Towers" since it is John Cleese at his best. You may know him from something completely different, but I think, he was never better than in this self-written series. ACHTUNG! As a German you'll need a certain talent to laugh about yourself... (I guess you know, what I mean...) Edit: Ze English was faster... Last edited on 2012-07-04 11:20:47 by Sisko |
