A quick question, the wins that are shown when we look at a future match, what exactly are those wins, are they referring to head to head wins, division wins, or conference wins. The reason i ask is because my team is 2 games behind the Shock and if we manage to at least tie over the last three games, the first tie breaker is wins and according to my stats i have 2 wins against them so would that be what breaks the tie?

they are head to head wins in that format, so if its a future league game then its your head to head in league games all time, same for super cup, friendlies etc.

It is a strange thing here, but hth does not play a role in tiebreakers. It is purely on pd.

I didn't see that in the manual about tiebreakers. I'm basing what I know off this post from pete

tiebreaker

And...I can only see them losing one of the final three games if any. They play a 2-12 team and a bot team. The Plymouth game could be good though.

You should win the last three games to finish 12-4. I think you are locked into that 5th playoff spot...

ok well in that case hopefully i can leapfrog into first because i doubt very much that a 12-4 record is good enough to be a wildcard team but also the faq should be changed then to reflect the correct tiebreakers

You are already the 5th seed. You should win your 3 last games. You will be a wild card. There are many wildcard teams out there that are 9-7, 10-6, and 11-5.

Like I said, he won't lose more than one and you will win your three so you won't be able to over take him for the division, but you will make the playoffs.

now see i am confused though on how playoff seeding works. I know the division winners obviously go to the playoffs, but how does the wildcard work is it the team with the second best record in the conference or how does it work

The quick way for you to check is to go to your league page, then click on conference. It will show you the current seeding, which you are 5th.

The explanation is, record first out of the conference outside of the division winners. If there is a tie then it goes to pd.
