Since the bots have been weeded out along with some others I figured we are at a point where there is a low enough number of good teams to comment on.
Lucentum Penguins (thunder) @ Mighty Magpies (fire) Chicago Blues (Galaxy) @ Leeds Celtics (sea devils) Aachen Killer Bees (Monarch) @ Jena Yellow Aces (Monarch) I can't believe they are facing off yet again. The epic series continues! Majalorca Pigs (Dragons) @ S.M.T.N. (claymore) Sinna Ladd Tromsø (admirals) @ Cameroon Turtles (galaxy) San Diego Blitzkrieg (Galaxy) @ Stuttgart Supernovas (dragons) S F (Dragons) @ Dillon Cowboys (admirals) Steely Phil (Dragons) @ Full Floters (admirals) League breakdown: Admirals- 3 Claymore- 1 Dragons- 4 Fire- 1 Galaxy- 3 Monarch- 2 Sea Devil- 1 Thunder- 1 After the next games there will be only one monarch left. Either fire or Thunder will be eliminated. I predict Claymore will be eliminated. Any games you guys see that look good? |

Winners Mighty Magpies Leeds Celtics Aachen Killer Bees (although it is a close game between those two each time.) Majalorca Pigs Cameroon Turtles San Diego Blitzkrieg SF Full Floters Although no result would surprise me outside of 2 games. |

So far the teams that have survived:
Magpies (league champ last season) Celtics (league champ last season) Yellow Aces(conf champ last season, beat the league champ last season in the last game!) Pigs (league champ last season) Sinna Ladd (league champ last season) San Diego Blitz (league champ last season) Those are all 1.1 league champs by the way. Barring 20+ point comebacks the winners that haven't finished the games are SF (conf champ last season) Floters (conf champ last season) By conference left: Admirals: Sinna Ladd Tromsø and Full Floters (played each other in league championship game last season) Dragons: SF and Majalorca Pigs (played each other in league championship game last season) Fire: Mighty Magpies Galaxy: San Diego Blitzkrieg Monarch: Jenna Yellow Aces Sea Devils: Leeds Celtics So all teams left except myself, Jenna Yellow Aces, and Full Floters won their 1.1 league championship. You could use this to determine league strength in terms of it's top levels.
The S.M.N.T. (Claymore 1.1 champ0 was handled by Majalorca Pigs (Dragon Champ) 31-7. turigtians esports club (1.1 Thunder champ) was beat by SD Blitz (Galaxy 1.1 champ) 13-0 More to come next week! Some teams have had some pretty easy schedules! Examples: Leeds Celtics ( who don't need any breaks mind you) have faced a 2.1 league champ, a good one mind you, and then two 2.X conference champs Full Floters have faced two 2.1 league champs and a bot. I have had probably the easiest schedule to get here. I have played 2 conference champs from 2.X and a team from 2.x that doesn't have any trophies. Not sure how they ended up in the cup.. |
