Apologies if this has been discussed previously.

I believe experience star ranking is based on "number of plays". Additionally, certain competitions (league) will reward more experience than others (friendly).

Now, I noticed my punter has been playing for 3 full seasons, which equals 467 punts in 81 matches. However, his experience is still only 1 star.

For comparison, my starting QB added up 5396 plays in 92 matches during the same time span.

Most positions will add up a lot more plays than kickers and punters who are restricted to a limited number of plays by default. So does it not sound plausible that K/P should gain experience at an accelerated rate?

If not, P/K will never reach full experience.

Yep, I know this issue. It is quite hard to judge a factor for STers...

With over as i feel 100.000 games played here already one chance could be to take average -x% as treshhold for "gain or not gain"

Second chance is to take average of NFL games of last seasons, you find stats on NFL.com or ESPN.com or any other official american sports site

Also chance to make slide scale

Play 0-x is 0% xp gain
Play (x+1) to y is 33% gain
Play (y+1) to z is 66% gain
and so on

Introduce this is also nice tradedown for superior teams, because ST player will not play much like the punter e.g., so the big win will come to cost of no experience for some players

And i see the future of good teams pay even 50+ Mill for a good young punter

It's because you talk like that you are one step ahead of us.

Let's do a slide scale!!
