So...some think there is too much money floating around. Others don't like having limited chances to promote players from the YA to the senior team.

How about combining these two together.

Something like paying 1million or 5 million to promote a 7th YA selection.
It would then progressively get more expensive. Double each after that?

Part of the problem is that the players 18, 19 and 20 years old go straight to the YA. Adding in the youth pulls each u p d a t e (over 20 a season) it gets cluttered quickly. I would prefer to choose if the player gets to the YA or Senior team but this would be at least better than what we have now. It is difficult to keep players in there long term under the current constraints.

Are you sure that you can pull more than 6 players each season, who can improve your team?

Short answer, yes.

They would be my backups to start with, but they eventually become starters. Takes a little while to also build up their TC.

It isn't just because they would immediately make a huge change.

It is the math of it.

Over 20 pulls a season plus TM buys that are 19 and 20 years old.

Some examples of youth I've pulled from my YA this season:

1. WR with 42 speed, 36 strength, 15 catching. 19 years old.
2. OL with 41 strength (no caps yet) 22 block, 11 fw, 45 tw, 18 years old.
3. DL with 46 strength 20 tackle, 41 tw. 18 years old.
4. CB with 42 speed and double digits in most important skills. 18 years old.

Those are the ones that I built. It isn't counting the other 2 I bought on TM that I had to transfer.

they are

5. FB (maybe OL depending on caps) with 32 speed, 38 strength (no caps) 15 block, 13 carry, 12 agility, 49 tw, 36 intell. and 18 years old.

So, no they aren't instant starters, but they are good backups at only 18 and 19 years old. In a few seasons they will be very good starters. I have about 4 more who are similiar or a little below that are in the YA. Sure, I can pull them next season, but I have a handful of 17 years olds who are promising. In addition the pulls next year and any tm buys need to be considered.

Wow! I must be doing something wrong, I'm lucky to see a youth with strength or speed above 30!

I wouldn't mind putting price tags on Youth pulls 7+, but I sort of agree with Buffalo, in terms of not using more than 6 pulls anyway.

You are right, I can see you have got a great bunch of Youngsters there, but as your team develops you will have to increase your efforts in order to produce starters from your YA. At the later stages I expect managers to focus on 1-3 Youth players.

Hm, one of the reason for the limit was that a manager has to make decision - which YPs he wants to have...and after all, you can sell them too...I expected to see some transfers out of the YA.
