From the manual:

Intelligence helps in making right, or even wrong decisions on the field. Some positions will benefit more from it, others less. The brains of both offense and defense are the leaders of their group, and who does not like to have an intelligent leader?

Vision is a tactical skill which helps each position on the field to "see" the opponent’s tactical orders. All defenders will need high Vision, and the Quarterback too! All other positions could use at least some vision.

Glossary here is every skill defined

I must have bad "vision" because I still dont "see" the difference.

Maybe Int involves hearing and smell?

Intelligence is the possibility to make the right decision after you saw what your opponent do.

Nah, you only have bad "intel" if you don't see the difference.

Ok, so what is the difference between a player with vision 45 and another with 15?

This is like digital to me - it either works or it doesn't i.e. you can see or you are blind!

It's a very stereotypical way of making an example but...put a woman in a driver's seat and now put a guy in there. Both can be very intelligent, and both are able to see, but I'm sure you'll see the difference.
