That could be an explanation. On the other hand there are also regions where the 2.2 league has more humans than 2.1 (Claymore and Monarchs - Monarchs 2.2 has 32 human teams! :thumb
Then there are leagues which are more or less equal and in others 2.1 "dominates" (in terms of having more human teams). But again, that is just a snap-shot of today... next time some teams go bot in one league, several new managers in the other and it will look completely different. |

Preachie my apologies you are so easily offended by observations and how teams are choosing divisions as was done in past World Wars. Maybe in Europe you guys don’t reference football and war as much as it is done in the USA. Maybe you’re not aware but we are a very violent” shoot for thrills” armed to the teeth society over here and reference most things to war. However, it does tend to come in handy when the world needs a rescue every couple of decades.
Actually I’m not upset, it is just something I noticed as far as parings go. In tournament play that is not how seeding are done, [usually]. American College baseball World Series tournament is a good example] nothing more. I never looked at the other leagues and don’t see 2.2 being an equal to 2.1 [most people probably don’t either] considering RZA is relatively a new game. When I joined I don’t recall Galaxy having a 2.2. It would seem to me that it makes more sense to move the bots out then seed. Especially under the situation you posted as being in the other leagues. Which then begs the question can some 2.x leagues actually be stronger than the 1.x leagues above them? How much sense does that make? In the other LARGE online games I believe it is generally accepted knowledge that leagues on the same pyramid level are more difficult from L to R. IE 3.1 is harder than 3.2 which is harder than 3.3 and so on. Easy way to move bot teams down! [Sokker, UM, HA] Really at this point the question is what makes the most financial sense for teams from 1.1 playing relegation games. Fight to stay up or “throw” games and go down? |

Don't worry everything is fine - "we" Germans are sometimes a bit sensitive when the topic comes to (any) World War (must be the strict educational background
 - and I quite often heard from Americans and English people that we might be too sensitive with it - they might be right  )
I didn't mean that a 2.x league is stronger than a 1.1 league (I totally agree that wouldn't make any sense at all), I meant that e.g. Galaxy 1.1 is stronger than Claymore 1.1 (just an example, I'm not sure if this is true, just want to show what I meant - so people from Claymore, please don't blame me )
I think I know what you mean, anyway I still believe that it's not a fixed state that 2.1 leagues are 'stronger' than 2.2 ones. However, I don't see a (good) way to change that dynamic. One option could be to distribute new teams equally all over the 2.x leagues. But that would have the big downside that it would not be possible anymore to play with friends in the same region/league. So as you said, it's a rather new game and maybe we'll have just to wait a few more seasons to see how things will progress. And yes, you're right that currently it might be 'better' to step down a league and make even more money - but as mentioned before, that's a thing we are working on at the moment. |
