I could support your impression. The problem is extreme in the morning (CEST). More than 10 seconds for loading a page is toooooooo long.

I'm noticing those performance drops in the morning hours for a few days already.
The good thing is, I couldn't see any obviously serious problems on the server. The bad thing is, I couldn't see any obviously serious problems on the server (so I'm in the dark and couldn't find the root cause yet) 
My first impression is that it's related to the backup process which runs in the morning hours. But then the question is still open why the performance drops happens now and not already before. So it apparently is a combination of different factors what makes it not easier to troubleshoot. I will continue to check what I can do to make things better. In the worst case we'll have to wait for Pete coming back from vacation since he configured the server and knows what he's doing |

Now I have a lot of problems with the reactions of the server. I think it´s too long. It takes a lot of time to build a new page here.

Currently, it's the worst I've ever seen .... response times to load a single page are in the minutes ..... no point trying to do anything on this site in the mornings at the moment

I know what's the root cause but have no idea how to fix that in a short term.

Seems to be training day related to. I try to do the training and can rarely get the page to save - very frustrating if 5-10 mins goes down the toilet.
