I would like to suggest the following;
putting the bots at the end of the draft. example: 2 bot teams get the first 2 picks and the lowest human team is third. put the human teams first and let all the human teams go through their 3 picks as normal in three serperate rounds then let the bot teams have the last 3 picks for their team in a row at the end of the draft. |

This is just a greed.
BOT will choose random and yes it can happen that the superdupermonster-QB is taken by a bot. That's bad luck, but happens. In leagues with a lot of BOTs, a team with a well sorted draft list should be able to get one of his top 5 picks anyhow, thats what I learned from the testserver. |

If a team is managed - longstanding or new - they should have their draft pick - but BOTS should drop - at least to the end of each round or as OP says, wholly until the end of the draft. +1 for the OP from me. |

If thats the case then its a good option to drop one or two leagues to get in bot loaded leagues.... does a human managed team not develop in line with other managed teams - does the draft not give a human managed team a chance to compete or help fulfill whatever strategy they are embarking on? does it also not give a chance at the manager becoming established in the game, which surely is the priority? i dont see the point of these players being released into the game and be targeted by playing managers then get taken by BOTS and lost once they become managed, which all too often is temporary - not permanent. |

I don't mean to show any disrespect to the originator of this suggestion, and I'm 100% sure he had good intentions in making his suggestion, but ....
I use my words (as always) very carefully here...... this suggestion is bordering on insidious for the following reason :- Currently, if any manager out there definitely wants to have the No.1 Draft pick, then he is going to have to Tank (and tank badly all season) in order to finish stone-cold bottom of the League. However, if this suggestion was implemented, all you would need to do in order to have the No.1 pick is to finish as the worst-placed human team ..... in other words, this suggestion would (to a certain extent) assist people who want to lose intentionally. I don't think that's a very welcome thing therefore it's a big  ....sorry. |
