This is my balance this season

So this is the money i save up for the future

Oh wait, even less because there are 2 more financial updates to come for this season

I have 7 million, but if I hadn't worked my transfer market magic, I'd be in trouble.

Nothing beats spending 6k on a player and getting 5 million for him a week later.

Player salaries are going to get ferociously high. Anyone with doubts should check out this guy:

Name Kory Odom
Scout Level 20
Nationality usa Age 28 Wage $437934

Don't trust me? Scout him yourself: Scout him yourself

(I'm not giving away any secret info here - he was recently bought and then dumped, so he's in the free agent pool now...not on any team. I'll just say he is maxed out on Tackling and leave it at that.)

Player salaries are already ferociously high for hideously one-skilled players such as this one

If this player had been built in a balanced way he would have been substantially more affordable and also more effective..... he would have also had considerable value on the TM whereas now he is just a Frankenstein's Monster with a salary that will frighten away all but the most naive or foolish of managers.

The example you picked doesn't show that player salaries will eventually act as the ultimate financial limitation .... it actually shows that the brain cells of one or two managers will eventually act as the ultimate limitation

If I am correct in thinking doesn't the NFL collect all income (less ticket sales) and distribute it around the league evenly? Well IMO doesn't that equate to an income cap like we have here?

Then you have the salaries and expenditure well there is a hidden salary cap as there is only a finite number of dollars floating around and you can't pay out more than you bring in long term because the money will soon run out. I only joined 14 league games into season 3 and already this season with a Tuesday and Friday friendly I am losing around $1m per update.

This u p d a t e my bank balance will have dropped by $14,656,523 admittedly $14,451,498 of that has been spent on the TM. So that's $200k with two friendlies, sponsorship money and the fan shop income. As for a new side coming into the league and being a top side in a few seasons is that not also possible in the NFL? A new franchise is started and through good FA signings they can have a playoff side in a few seasons.

In a few seasons we will see the top teams develop their own style of play and have their marquee players for those positions. With good players in other not quite so key positions and solid players completing the roster. Are you going to pay the wages for lets say Jerry Rice and Randy Moss when you have built a running game around Barry Sanders and Wa l t e r Payton?

When the current have nots close the gap on the haves we will see a lot of exciting games with tactics playing the major part which will then come down to the IQ and adaptability of the two managers. Right now a defence can be successfully built around stopping the run. As personal styles come into games you will see that teams will need more than just a great wall of defensive linemen to make the post season.

As for the comment that those who have been here since season one can get overtaken by a newer side. History tells us that in sports no one has a devine right to continue to be successful. That right has to be earned by continuing to improve season upon season.

I only have 10 million in my account right now on account of the 110 million buy I had recently.

I have less than that just under $5m but nearly all my purchases have been improvements on what I currently have. I keep trying to transfer $4m into my personal account but Pete wont let me for some reason
