In response to SFNINER08

I don’t doubt your figures, however you are leaving a lot out of the equation in regards to the talent gap. The new financial changes will do more to increase the gap then to close it. As it is when teams move up from 2.x to 1.x they are not going to compete for several season either in talent or money. That gap is only going to get bigger at this point. I believe there is something like 45 bots in the 1.x leagues at the moment. Question is why?

The interesting factor in your figures is that it pretty much proves what I’m saying. You are going to have a financial problem in a few seasons, in which the fix will be to go the HA way with unrealistic money revenue streams. Or if you don’t and your financial predictions proves out, then the top talent goes bye, bye and your playing with players in the 1 to 5 year range, with the occasional top dollar player thrown in.

Just my opinion but unless RZA institutes a hard cap and 45 man roster limit, that gives EVERYONE the same equal chance at talent. [You would still have to build a team] then the future isn’t going to be a problem for RZA because there won’t be one. It seems to work very well in the NFL today with teams like Detroit, Carolina, KC being examples of going from cellar dwellers to playoff contenders in only a couple of seasons.

I'm quite sure, he isn't going for the exploit and I'm absolutely sure, he won't cry... He's well prepared for the passing game, as hosh already mentioned. I really like his QB (and I have an eye on him not just since the Bowl ). T for Turtle is also T for Tactician...

Tomorrow we have the season rollover, and we will introduce some changes at the same point + plusminus some hours maybe...that is the reason for post, and keep in mind my " markers around exploit...

SFniner is definitely not wrong in his analysis.. the number bare out but I look at this all from a different angle. It doesnt make logical sense for a 30yr player who is, by years of training, going to cost an astronomical amount given that he is only going to play a year or two more.

As far I know its the technical ability that warrants a players salary and that brings up a two fold issue. Because physical stats never decrease with age.. a player salary can ONLY go up as he advances in his career. Leaves very little wiggle room in how we do train our players because now its basically a rush to gain them to their maxes in physical before you get the ground running on their technical abilities. I'm not a fan of this...

tho not to the extent of technique... you do pay for size/strength in the NFL. I would really love for the premium money be given to guys in their primes at a point where their physical skills apex with their technical skills. That way you couldnt just go young with abandon.. and it wouldnt be disastrous to field a nice amount of 28+yr players to your team.

I got your point. But exploit or "exploit", I'm sure Turtle just isn't going for it. He's talking about it, for sure. But he's building a well rounded team, ready for the moment, ready for the future, when "all run" or "mostly run" isn't possible anymore.

Maybe maybe not!

First of all no knows if round team can be effective

I try just to show that it can not

I had troubles this season and mostly in one-on-one situations where lot of situation was won by opponent player be one-side-trained

Next is: Turtle is not focus at the moment

OH DAMN, the time of reckoning is upon me! lol. I have about 90% of my team's contracts up for bargaining and it is going to get expensive real fast. My trio of draft lb's....

I tried to sign them to franchise contracts and couldn't get it done with 150k per u p d a t e so I settled on 2 year contracts. I have about 8 to 10 players that might cost me up to 1.5 million an update. I think I'm going to wait until I build up my account before I do any more contracts. Those draft players get up to the 40s in skills within a few seasons...
