Paying for the tickets and the Special Edition DVDs later. I am addicted, read all the books...I am sorry, but I am one of the dumb ones supporting this money maker machinery im sure it will be good, but 3 films!! oh noes Twilight can stretch the ending, Harry Potter can stretch the ending. LotR can have a 3rd film that could have lost an hour of play time. do it over 2 films yeh but no need and just jumping on industry standard at the mo. best hope the first one is good or its going to feel like Starwars. |

When I read about the further split into 3 films, I felt quite the same...but Peter Jackson has a feeling for such movies, IMO. I trust him in this case. Hopefully he does not disappoint me

The cinema version were cut too much IMO. In some scenes you just miss an explanation... |

The only part i didnt like in the 2nd movie, was where they changed part of where THeoden, and And Aragorn rode out. in the animated edition Theoden called "Gandolf" out and then they rode down over the mountain and swamped the orcs.

Just to tell you: if you like LOTR, you have to see the Hobbit. Great show!
Well done, Mr. Jackson |
