Yesterday afternoon I bought a player for a fairly big sum of money and signed in this morning to get the contract sorted out before I'd lose him. The time difference between him being added to my team and losing him was less than 10 hours and by the time I got signed in he has already left my team. I don't expect him to be re-added to my team but it's very frustrating to lose a player like this. Maybe there can be something done where the transfer of a player is delayed until after the season switchover to avoid other people losing players through no real fault of their own.

Yesterday I sold a senior player for 21 000 and now I got a message that he leaves my team, because I didn't sign a new contract with him. Where's my f...ing money?

Oh, we discussed this already. We just found no solution that would be OK except closing the TM from 3 days before the Season rollover until it is finished

There are two sides...

A.) The manager should know about the season rollover, it gets announced voa PM a few days before. And he should know - if running on HR Dep - that all contracts have to have a valid status on season rollover. So if the manager goes and signs new players on the TM, he should be aware of that close window for negotiating a contract.

B.) The player is in the database, so yes, we could reassign him to your team. But I could understand managers arguing about such an action, due the reason of A)

So what to do? Serious question, I have no answer for that.

We have several options:

1.) We just reassign this player to your team

2.) We rollback the financial transaction, but you won't get the player to your team

3.) We just do nothing, and tell you about A.)

I cannot answer, maybe the community could give some input here...

I lost a player too but he only cost $33k but I would be totally miffed about losing a player who cost millions.

Personally I would reassign in this instance but from next season onward close the TM from the Wednesday u p d a t e until the rollover has been completed.

I think he should get the player. And I assume the selling manager (if the player was not a free agent) received the money.
