Move all players in position(s) drafted in previous round(s) to bottom of draft order? Y/N

When and where do you propose this happen btw? During the sorting or during the draft?

The idea is for during the draft itself....

For example, if you take a QB in R1 and have the box ticked, the remaining QBs on the draft list would be moved to the bottom.

Much simpler than the current round numbering, which as you have yourself proved, is wide open to misinterpretation.

Sorry if I'm missing something here, but what is the difference between this and simply having all your "rounders" down the bottom in the first place?

And again, here will be my procedure next draft -

Scout
Copy/paste into spreadsheet
Sort (in spreadsheet)
return to web page and move player 1 to bottom of list
player 2 to bottom of list......etc

So not only do you get all the rounders down the bottom, they auto-sort as well.

It's a simpler way of doing things - too many people misunderstand the current system and put their R1 players at the top for example.... you didn't understand the current system properly until you were told in this thread, and from the draft in our league, there are others who don't either.

It feels counter intuitive to place all your 1st round choices at the bottom of the board, also, what then happens if one of the players you selected as a round1 pick is still available for round 2? He's at the bottom! This way at least we could list from top down in order of priority, and we get the option to move a whole group of players to the bottom if we draft a better player in their position.

I like this idea, because as you say ... the 'round flags' do seem to defy logic (Pete won't like that comment ! ). And I have read the manual several times on this section, but it doesn't seem to sink in .
My solution is to just avoid the 'round flags' , and avoid them like the plague.
But if a more straightforward method was introduced, that could only be a step-forward.

I suggest we remove the round marker for the next draft, then we discuss again if it is useful or not

What's up with -

a) Sort entire draft without rounds
b) specify what positions you want. (or not)

eg FB, SF, LB

So if a FB has been picked it wont pick another.

eg FB, FB, LB

So if a FB was picked and another is available and next on list it will take another.

By default, it would never draft 2 or 3 players of the same position. But that could be optional.

I believe this creates unlimited possibilites.

Actually, you could have a position list like -

QB - 1
RB -3
FB - 2
WR - 0

Where the number is how many players you'd be willing to take at that position - so 0-3.

Please do, or at least add the ability to move already drafted positions to the end of the list while keeping the round markers (if you insist!).
