The refs did a lot of mistakes, which force the coaches to throw the challange flag more often.
The NFL is to fast for them. They often see not, if the player was down by contact or a fumble occured, if a receiver is in bounds or not. They throw their cap in front of a receiver, who slide on the cap (it would have been a drama if Ogloetree got injured at this action). Hey whats going on? Can we have a flag throwing for wrong refs decisions? The only good thing I saw, that they throw not to often the flag for def interference this week. On the other side some coaches and players behave like childrens, who think that they can do everything with the refs. Some receivers try more to get the flag than trying to catch the ball. This is not sportsmanlike. Bring the old refs back. They are not errorless, but better. Lets play football and not counting |

And at the end this unbelievable FG IN call at the last second ater the non existing pass interference call against spikes where flacco was sacked and the not called offensive interference TD by Smith against mc courty. I still canĀ“t believe it. |

(I know they did, but did they really won?) depends on if you think a green bay DB can catch a TD pass for the Seahawks instead of an interception |

That last play in the Packers/Seahawks game wasn't the only bad call. People (especially Packers fans) like to forget a bad call on the Packers' drive that led to the Packers TD...yes, I'm a Seahawks fan, but both teams suffered greatly at the hands of poor decisions. And there were many of them. It's just a pity that the game was capped off with the mother of all bad decisions, even AFTER a ten minute review (what the hell were they looking at during that time???)
Point is, this just isn't football. I don't want to see my team win or lose on the back of such terrible referreeing... |

Please be aware, that because of these insecure refs the players do MORE illegal actions than last season.
Of course they do, since the refs don't really like to be exposed on national TV (but they still are ....) and so they do let some stuff go which the regular refs would not. But would the regular refs be there, many of this stuff wouldn't happen, since the player would behave better. Because of this, the games look even more shitty than they would look by only having some bad decisions. They look like anarchy. |

i really didnt think this would be as much of an issue as it is turning out to be....i mean these guys arent just getting judgment calls wrong - they are getting fundamental, simple calls wrong and it is costing teams games - even with the benefit of reviews.
It is fast turning this season into a farce - i dont blame the individuals themselves - they are being asked to do a job they simply do not have the knowledge or experience to handle in a pressure cooker atmosphere with the eyes of the world on them - they are doing their best - but Roger Goodall needs to sort this out fast - whatever it takes - before it escalates even further. |
