Was wondering why is it not possible to retract a bid for a Coach if you are the only one that has placed a bid om him?

Sometimes a user specialy a new user but also experienced users will place a bid on a certain coach and then thinks or reads something on the Forum that makes him re-think and want to retract that bid because it was a bad move or because he saw another coach that he missed at first glance, etc...if the coach that he originaly placed the bid on has not received a diferent bid from any other team why not allow that user to remove the bid?

Guess this is kind of a suggestion/question

same with a player how many times has someone bid on someone then found something better a day or two later.

That is true, but you could only retract the offer when nobody else placed a bid on them, when they are yet to have any offers is what i mean, not when there is already a bid and you out bid them. If this would happen you wouldn't be able to retract.

Example where you could retract a Bid:

Coach - John Doe
Highest Bid By - None

Say I place a bid for him but then I thought it over and regreted it, ok I could retract the bid because i did not outbid anyone else.

Example where you couldn't retract a Bid:

Coach - John Doe
Highest Bid By - Shard End Sharks

If I was to bid on this Coach i could not retract it, because i would outbid another team.

Don't know if this is making sense to anyone else other then me tho...

I do understand where you are coming from. Thats why I double checked and triple checked my bidding on coaches. I know its an expensive mistake to make but if we did it on coaches we would need to apply the same logic to managers too. I would hate to have to fire a player because someone has changed their mind last minute.

I'm not suggesting this for players, my suggestion is for coaches, the two do not have to be connected. At least AFAIK they don't.

I know they dont have to be but once you have it for one someone will want it for the other.

Keeping with the coaches thread I would like contracts for coaches as well.
