I read this :-

3.) The effect out of form (losses) will be higher for league games (excluding playoffs and relegation). This means, for each loss out of the last 10 official games (no matter what type) we will reduce the attendance by 3%. Today it is 1%.

But I find it a bit strange, here's why :-

In this game S F (Sfniner08) is playing at home, but he only gets 129,999 attendance.

In this game Majalorca Pigs (Panoramix) is playing at home , yet he gets 141,332

Now ... last season, they both had a very successful season ... the difference being that Panoramix won all his bowl games whereas Sfniner wasn't quite as successful .....

but my match last night had 127,495 and I didn't win anything like what Sfniner08 won ..... I also noticed that quite a few of the other games in my league were around the 125,000 / 130,000 level ..... so are we saying that to get a 140,000+ attendance you need to win all the bowls ?

How is the calculation worked out at the start of the season, is the form/wins from last season taken into account ?

Some attendances from last night (I know that most/all of these guys will have Level 20 PR guys ....Stuttgart certainly has, I remember telling him to buy the level 20 guy to optimize his crowd figures !! ) :-

Stuttgart Supernovas - 126,698
Malakas Bull - 131,183
Pink Panthers - 132,322
Madrid Typhoons - 130,335

I may be thinking a bit left field here but here goes my formula for calculating attendance

the number of paying customers that walk through the gates on gameday = attendance

Could you post some sort of step-by-step walk-through to show how the attendance is calculated from 2 of the examples above. I still think the Sfniner 129,999 seems low compared to Panoramix on 141k plus .... but if you can give some more detail then I'm sure I'll believe you just that bit more ....

Isn't it as simple as MPs last game was a win and SF's was a loss? And that's in both the league and CofC also.

Shouldnt the 3% drop then mean that SFs attendance would be around the 137k mark?

scratch that. give me 2 minutes

SF lost their last three competitive games so a 3% drop off each time would mean if I have understood it correctly so that should leave the attendance around 130,500 taking into consideration random factors which means you doing always sell out the stadium that could be about right.

Majorca Pigs had won something like their last six games so it should be very close to the maximum.

I think Pete should probably explain it better.

O don't see anything wrong with the numbers, as far as I understood it. You all forget about a good portion of randomness in the attendance calculation, and the manual mentions the max numbers...

Within 1000 of the lower attendance isn't too bad a guess.

So would I be right in thinking that if over the ten previous competitive games two teams had the following form:-

Team A WLWLWLWLWL
Team B WWWWWLLLLL

Team A should have the better attendance heading into the next game?

Simple question to admin just for clarification:

Only regular league games count for calculation or all games played include playoffs count?
