Like the title says, it gets some what confusing to have all plays from every Quarter in the same tab.
This creates a long list of plays to scan through when you want to make changes to specific plays that are beeing called, now I know you can see in which quarter they are beeing called at the left part of your screen, and you can sort them by quarter, but it still gets some what confusing at times, adding Tabs to each Individual Quarter would make it more clean and easy to deal playbook in my opinion.
The space is there to add icons if this is even a option to add to the Playbook.

Also let me add that we could have an option to copy the 1st Quarter Playbook to the 2nd Quarter or 3rd,4th and OT Playbook. Be it with the Export/Import feature, or with a Copy Paste feature. This will help save time and create a better game dinamic in my opinion.

Does this make sense? I mean, the playbook has to be viewed as whole thing to check, if the rules match or not. Splitting them into quarters could interrupt this view

How so Pete?

The way i see it the rules would apply the same way as they apply now to the playbook, diference is, it would be easier to check and change the actual plays from each individual Quarter Tabs.

After having them set in each individual Quarter, they would translate like the user left them to the Playbook as a whole.

Small example:
User would create lets say 10 plays for the 1st Quarter in the 1st Quarter Playbook Tab, then s e l e c t the ones he want on top just like we do now. Same for the 2nd Quarter and for all the other Quarters in each individual Tab. Then those rules would be carried to the playbook as a whole but already with them selected like a user left them from top to bottom. The copy paste feature would be something that could help with this part to.

QPG = Quarter Playbook
PB = Playbook

Could be used to [Copy 1st QPB] to [Main PB] (Or something like this)

Or if it carrys automaticaly even better.

The only diference this suggestion is wanting to make is to have an easier way to deal with a large playbook, because it does get tricky and complicated, a guy gets lost in the middle of all those play calls, and this would make it easier. Probably would help owners to change their playbook calling more often to. Or maybe not.

Bad idea.
My playbook looks like.
q1 downX distance<XX etc...
q2 downX distance<XX etc...
q3 downX distance<XX etc...

But filters for playbook - is good idea.

That is what I meant with "interrupted view"

I've already made such a suggestion. It never really got any attention though.

Yeah, I find it a little frightening to not have everything on one page so that you can see what will happen b4 something else.

But the present situation is just as frightening I suppose if someone ends up with a long playbook.

I suppose if you needed to page down 4 times to see your PB anyway that this might not be such a bad idea?

I think what we probably want is a special bits and pieces section and a general section. And then a way to compare and see overlap/order.

Another nice feature would be a way to see the holes i.e. a way to see, at a glance, what situations are not covered in the playbook.
