This subject has been mentioned on-and-off a few times, occasionally as a subject in it's own right, and more often than not during one of those thread-hijackings that seem to be numerous and happen often in the RZA forums ( I blame Sfniner ) ..... anyway .....
2 simple questions :- (1) Do you think Agility is a big deal for O-linemen ? (2) Have you any evidence that Agility helps/doesn't help O_linemen ? I seem to remember that even the great Solana_Steve mentioned in his Coaches Corner that he wasn't sure if agility was useful for O-Linemen. I also seem to remember that Dark_Wing was convinced that his O_Linemen had good player ratings because their agility was well-trained. Go for it .... tell me what you think |

Agility is third behind blocking and strength for a tackle. Speed rushers eat strong but immobile tackles in American football. Speed isn't much needed for offensive linemen. This guy has source code access This is all I need to convince me. Agility is needed. |

So the real question is that we know Agility helps get out of the way of blocks and tackles, but is it equal and opposite i.e. does it help to line up blocks and tackles?
Or is footwork the opposite? Or simply tackling/blocking? |

There was plenty of Admin's traditional obfuscation when it comes to the player skills/player positions (fishing game vs poker game) that continually occurs. |

How high of agility are you talking? be careful with this one ..... Dark_Wing once said that some of his O-Line had higher ratings because of Agility .... I scouted some of them and it looked like the higher ratings were coming from Experience. That's why I said previously ... has anyone got any evidence ? preferably admissible in a court of law under oath |

Peter said it is important for the O-Line
The manual suggests its important for blocking It boosts an OL rating It is one of the skills than an OL AC trains. The Pass Blocker trait boosts agility - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Feel free to ignore it if you want but seems pretty clear cut this one.
