I pose this question because it is one I'm asking myself....

Should I sell my superstar player from the first draft?

Reason: This last rollover is a big increase in overall player pay. In fact, I haven't renegotiated contracts yet because it would be so much more! I can see the need for a cushion coming so that I can maintain my roster as a whole while still being able to participate in the TM to a degree.

The problem? This player is so good why let him go...but...he would bring in so much $$$ that I would be comfortable....

His skills:

25 years old. 5 talent.
50 intelligence.
34 tw
42 strength capped
48 speed capped
28 positioning
33.7 vision
39.6 tackle
15 agility
Fearsome special trait.

I'm sure he would bring over 200 million, perhaps set a record...but I hate to lose him...it is a difficult decision. I'd still have a great LB core as I have 3 other draft lb who are almost as good as he is...

Anyone else struggling with this?

What would you do if you were me?

lose the Transfer Market addiction and actually start becoming a football coach rather than a Hedge Fund Manager

Sell him. If not, you will ask the question next season again...just pray he gets a new home outside your league.

Maybe wait some time, train his tactical skills over 35 and you would possibly get much better price. For now he's a bit one-skilled(big gap between main skill and tactical).

loan him to me I will make him play so bad that by the end of the season you'll be able to sign him to a 4 year deal worth $100 a week

Are you kidding us? With a skill of 40 his wage would be maximum 2,5 Mio$ per season. Its a big increase, but you need this player to be competitive. I think this wage is not dangerous for your bankroll.

SELL!!

Jokes apart, it's up to you to decide if playing on the TM is worth selling him. Mind that you'll be able to buy 1-2 "nice" players with the cash you'll get, but they will be needing time to reach his stats.

Wait!

Don't sell him yet...

you should wait and sell him next season when I'll have more money to try and buy him!
