Ok i'm not getting this at all, i lost my game against the porto engineers 12-6 yet with 15 seconds left and the ball on their 18, my playbook option for that situation is 4th quarter any down any distance to goal line <120s shotgun 4 WR Pass, so why would the engine have a run play in that situation when it should have been a pass, granted i may still have lost but it would have been more fair to lose like that rather than the engine picking the wrong play.

Ok first off...and not trying to upset you but the engine doesn't pick the wrong play on offense.
What must have happened was that you had a over-riding call. Check your game setting and see what you had for .."Go for 4th down when yards to go" it should be set to "never" and then set your choice of play on your playbook. Any way that is where I would start |

I would add a step before Petef's suggestion:
add the situation to the playbookchecker, and see, what the playbook returns. By this, you can see if the playbook has holes, or if the matchsettings itself are wrong. |

wait a second.....i'm a complete moron
 , i just realized the problem...the first numbered behind setting is behind 7-11, i was down by only 6 so thats why it didnt activate... no problem here anymore |

i tried to use it on another game and didnt understand it so thats why i posted up but, no issue i simply edited my option for behind rather than behind by

Not saying what has been suggested is wrong but if you go read the topic on Defense Playbook you will see there could be another reason. You might try just rebuilding from scratch, seems to have solved my issue of the ME using a play/formation that was not currently in the playbook.
Now if you will excuse me I’m taking SISKO’S advice to “change” so I’m catching the redeye out of the mean, tough streets of criminal Chicago [no place for wimps like Flipper] and heading to Bermuda to open an offshore bank account to avoid paying taxes while I “short” the Euro. |
