If I've bid on a player that I'm no longer in the running for, could there be a way to remove him from the bidlist before the bid is up?
This is a "Nice to Have" and isn't critical but would help keep the Bidlist cleaner. Thanks in advance, |

Simply remove it? Hm, this means another additional flag in the database...I put that on "Nice to have"...

I don't like this. There could be several problems related to it in my opinion.

Sorry I didn't explain anything further
I'm thinking about the guy who bid some amount for one player, then somebody else overbid him so, realizing that there's a better option in the TM (for example), bids on other player. Then this guy who overbid our friend in the first place, removes his bid. Now our fiend is the winner of two biddings, what if he has money only for one of them? In RZA an usual TM transaction could be 50 millions easyly. What if he didn't want the player either but, since somebody overbid him, he just forgot about the player? And on the other hand, what if I'm keen to pay X for one player, but that bid has already been placed by somebody else, so I forget about the player and the bid but, later that night, this guy removes his bid? Should we keep an eye in every player we like all through the bidding progress? I don't know if I'm explaining properly, maybe everything I'm saying is pointless because I never use the TM in RZA, but I'm thinking in other games in which I do use the TM and... dunno, simply don't like the idea Edit. I'm rereading the suggestion and I think I misunderstood the point, haha! What it's been suggested is a nice to have, I agree Sorry guys, I didn't sleep enough last night and just come back from work, this things happen I guess Last edited on 2012-08-30 17:06:31 by chabi |

I can imagine a kind of player's 'watchlist' (had that idea a while ago already and thought it would be already in Suggestions but couldn't find it anymore).
You can add and remove players to that watchlist to keep an eye on them. It could be that when bidding on a player, that one will be added to the list automatically, but you would be able to remove it manually. So it would be also possible to follow a bidding without the requirement to do one bid on him (which might raise the price unnecessarily). Okay, this one goes more ahead than the original suggestion, anyways just an idea (and it would include the option to remove the player from that list ) |

You can't remove bids. true, the described situation would not work in RZA, since you cannot remove the bid itself, only the entry in the bidlist @preachie: pssst |
