To solve the 'problem' of teams losing 2 games in SuperCup qualifying and then being no longer motivated to perform at 100% ........

Current Situation :-
Attendance money is split 50/50

Suggestion :-
Attendance Money goes into a 'Pot' .
From the Pot, 75% is split equally between the two teams.
The remaining 25% is split as follows ...... 75% to the winning team, 25% to the losing team.

It's actually more simple than it sounds, here's an example .......

Match Attendance :- approx 134,000 .... enough to give a Total (Ticket Money) Revenue of $8 Million.

75% to be split equally between the 2 teams ...... $8,000,000 x .75 = $6,000,000 ........ therefore $3,000,000 each

25% remains .... i.e. $2,000,000

75% (of the remainder) to the Winning Team .... $2,000,000 x .75 = $1,500,000

25% (of the remainder) to the Losing Team .... $2,000,000 x .25 = $500,000

Summary :- Winning Team = $3 million (attendance) + $1.5 Million (Winner's share) = $4.5 Million

Summary :- Losing Team = $3 million (attendance) + $0.5 Million (Loser's share) = $3.5 Million

An incentive to win (multiply the win bonus over 15 potential SC qualifying wins), but it doesn't 'punish' the losing teams too much......

so Everyone is Happy

against

Reason: Richer Teams (Better) will get richer (Better), poorer Teams will not only have the diadvantage to having started later (mostly the reason of being poorer) but also will get punished for being so late on starting the game

And there is no reason for loosing a SC on purpose, for the better Teams it´s an oppertunity to raise their TC but in 99% of the games the 1 League Teams have such an deep roster that the 2nd Team will win easily too.

I don't really understand these SC "motivation" threads. It's little different to league. The motivation is to simply play, train and get better/experience.

I wouldn't mind a little more money for a SC win though - like $250k. But as already stated, not in a way that takes away from noobs. That would actually be more demoralizing for them!

I still think the final finishing place in a division should be rewarded by something which is not money, at least not directly money.

Some kind of Bowl-game or some kind prestige points for your achievments (which we don't have yet ....).

The manager alrady gets money for every win through his sponsor!
