It would be nice to have offensive playbooks based on what QB is on the field and maybe even what RB.
For example, if the starting QB is injured or subbed, and the backup is a much lesser passer, then a playbook or match setting that kicks in a more run oriented attack would be desirable. |

It would be cool, yes. I'm not sure the engine is sophisticated enough for that yet.
Peter I think a lot of the suggestions that are made are compatible with the GLB game. My question is, will this engine ever go that direction? IF not (which is fine by the way) perhaps we should know so as not to make suggestions that won't be possible. For those who don't know what I mean by GLB, it is another football sim site, which is also good but different in approach to here, where there are specific plays you s e l e c t for specific situations on the field. You also can s e l e c t your depth chart to fit the play selections. It is an entirely different set up as instead of everyone as an owner you are a player who builds a player. So, it is way different. For the engine though..I'm not sure how they compare with here. I hope it was ok to post this Peter. If not, feel free to delete. |

I had it in my mind, too, some days ago. |

There is no "stupid" suggestion...therefore I see really no reason to limit suggestions by saying "we can never do XY".
As long as the suggesting manager accepts a no from time to time, and a "not yet" - more often - I am fine with. |
