The team Home of Canopi Miners
In admin 1.1 has lost all there league game so far and have won all there super cup games.

But what is make me think that he has giving up with in the league is the fact of 100+ loses and several 200 point loses like
212 to 7
203 to 0

But why any one would just give up like this is beyond me but I do hope he is sent down next year so we can have more fun competitive match

PS having a FB play QB doesn't sound like good tactics to me

Urshalt Gladiators did the same last season and they were unbeaten in the league the last time I looked. It makes a total mockery of the league they are in and could send a side into 2.x just because they don't get to play this side. It's a shame that these sides can't be banned from the supercup for the following season or something to try to prevent such actions

You forget the main part of RZA. We are playing not only for winning games, trophies or RZA$. We are playing for glory and honor. Teams which lost on purpose will never get the same honor for a trophy like strepsito, notch and all the other honorable managers.

What do you think about an award for the best manager of the season or a "Michael-Crabtree-Award" or "Rodger-Goodell-Award" for the worst manager of the season?

I know someone who would love to award a Michael Crabree award for the worst manager

You're way way behind the curve on this one.
Teams have been intentionally losing in RZA for a long long time :-

New England Patriots ..... Tanked almost all of their League games in Season 3 .... including some very ugly scorelines .... 181-0, 206-0 etc

Season 4 - Urshult Gladiators were infected by the Tanking virus .... 220-7, 157-14 etc etc

and this season, the disease has spread to Canopi Miners .... 212-7, 203-0 etc

So ... what will be done about it ?

Absolutely Nothing !! ... read This post to see why

Admin stated :- "losing now to win later is a valid strategy IMO, I wouldn't like to punish teams for doing this. If a manager is planning long term, let him do this."

So there you have it, this topic is dead in the water.

I don't understand, what's wrong in the current mode...

People want to have success, and learn they can't have it in TD. So they don't care about one season, and lose games, by having odd tactics. They enter league 2.x, deal with issues like less money, and have a good time when winning the league to promote again.

Now we several paths to "fix" a problem.

We can accept such strategies, as I did already for myself.

We can punish the manager by shooting down skills of his players like morale, tc or whatever. Hey, we are doing that already. A manager losing his league games won't enter the supercup playoffs, as example, due morale. At least it will be much harder for him.

We could ban him from some competitions like the supercup. Hey, I don't see a reason to do that, and it would be quite unfair by the way. Managers staying in supercup-leagues without such a "worse manager", would cry about less competition in such leagues, and they would be right. And, have you ever seen a team banned from cup games because of doing worse in the league? I didn't

What's left? Kicking the manager out of the game, confiscating all his money, and put his name on a public accessible pillory? C'mon, we have a smart community, this is not GLB...

The morale hit is quite low currently or better yet, you can regain a lot of % by just winning one game. Could it be done that the morale hit depends on by how many points you lose the game? Like, if you lose by 7 you lose 10%, if you lose by 203 you lose 50%?

Yep, like that idea!

But it probably should also take into account the quality of the other team - not so big of a hit if thrashed by a much higher rated team.

I don't care if they lose on purpose or not. I have some reasons...

1. Shame. I mean, if you aren't shamed by the tactic of losing on purpose then I have questions about your mental make up. They have that consequences hanging on them.

2. They lose the same vs everyone so it doesn't mess up the league standings in any way. Now, if they didn't employ the tactic the entire season then I have issue with it.

3. it is there team, not mine.
