This would be good. Why?

1/ QBs should only get weaker arms on pass plays - and this should only be a factor for 50+ passes. Or normal energy loss if they run. Maybe they get get a double hit if sacked?

2/ DL should wear down more than most, followed by OL. This would simulate wearing Ds down by offences that are hard to get off the field. Then pretty much all other positions would be normal. K and P - forget it.

Or call it "action based energy usage"

e.g. Pancake -> consume additional energy to blocking

like you said -> passing, the more, the higher the usage

QB get hurry or even sack

and so on...

Ah, good to know!

Could you tell us Pete, would a QB's passing ability drop off much late in a game if he was in all game?

Abel Toth OL 35 18 17 7 99.64 92.64 7.03 % 0/

Why should ability change during a game ? Surely the only way that Passing Ability changes is via specific training ?

Yes, all actions are affected by this, all game situations...

What is the passing ability...from my understanding it is the ability to complete a pass. This is a mix out of the passing playskill, tacticals, physicals...and since one physical drops, the whole passing ability drops. The passing skill doesn't drop. Does this solve the misunderstanding?

Yes.
It's just words ... my understanding of Passing Ability would be the actual skill that somebody has at Passing, so this could only change through specific passing-based training.
What you mean is (Passing) Performance , i.e. the ability to be able to perform at 100% of your passing ability...... and you're saying that this will decrease with 'external factors' such as fatigue etc.

I don't think your actual passing ability changes during a game..... you're either a good passer or you're not.

OK, lets replace Passing by Blocking...does it change during the game? For sure

Let's switch Blocking with "deep tackling"...it changes for sure.

This is why I added quite early during the development this in game energy, and different "exhaustion levels"..
