Agree Just one remark: number of tackles for DBs is a very contradictive stat

And please don't be shocked (lol), just because he is on the best defense on the Sea Devils, that doesn't mean he is performing well enough on it's own to win the Defensive MVP, a player playing in a crappy defense can win it to. Infact if I was going to vote right now, he wouldn't get it.

I understand your opinion and criteria for the Awards. One criteria is not rate of sucessful tackles. This is the most important stat for a DL, more important than sacks. A DL with a rate of more than 80% sucessful tackles is great.
With his criteria this player is may be better than Travon Miles:

Bane Aleksic (Rookie)
126 good tackles /30 missed
5 Sacks for 41 yards
4 TDs

Tackles are a important stat for every defensive player, ones more than others. But I agree tackles depends on opportunity, and that is why I didn't placed on the Watch List most if (any) of the players listed in the Tackling ranks, mostly because they might have 300 tackles but missed 200, and they have a incredible high number of plays to.

I think you are not understanding, this is not a one man vote getter. I am not the one that will dictate who wins it, this is just a Watch List. Once regular season is over, i'll u p d a t e the stats on these players and see if any other player showed outstanding improvement to also be part of the list, then everyone is welcome to place a vote, it's just for fun tho.

That player however is not in my opinion performing better than Travon Miles, and at this point is not worth placing him in the Watch List.

He as 2 more tackles made, but missed 13 more than Miles, Miles also as 6 Sacks for 44 Yards while he as 5 for 41, teh only thing he is out playing Miles is in defensive TD's.

Also Miles stats comes from 763 plays, while Aleksik as 915 meaning he as done less with more time on the field. So at this point and not to add unecessary workload to an already large list, I don't think we need to place him there.

Note - LB's/DB's/DL's all compete for the defensive MVP, it's not only DL vs DL.

And don't take this to seriously please, there is not a set criteria, it's based on first impressions, example the other DL that is competing for the MVP with Miles, he is there because he as 10 Sacks he is leading the league in sacks, got to give him credit, aldo he only made 30 tackes and missed 17, and as 1 Defensive TD.

As all Statistics here, they got no worth at all if you don´t figure out how many Bots are on he schedule of the Teams.

e.g. Fire 1.1 AC North has 2 Bots -> 4 high Statistic games for your offense; 4 low Statistic games for your defense at all

Don´t trust any statistic you didn´t cheat on you own

Wylie Menzies - 25 YO - LB - Oban Bay Broncos
Plays - 1133
Tackles Made - 162
Tackles Missed - 18
Sacks - 1
Sack Yards - 7 Yards
Interceptions - 12
Defensive TD’s - 9

Nice to see Mr. Menzies get some recognition. Could be treating my D pretty harsh, being 32nd ranked against the run. Could have something to do with Menzies pick rate

open it to all and i might care

The fact that you care or not is irrelevant, now if you don't mind edit your post to remove the quote. The post itself is already long with all the players, and with you quoting it makes it double the length to scroll down, so if you don't mind edit and remove the quoted part.

Thanks.

pmsl...wadders sent to the naughty step with a flea in his ear.

if there was a Season 5 award for post of the year, Canonico would win it hands down with that riposte!!

Great work on the stats though - i hope the 'efforts' of the Canopi Miners hasnt inflated any Admirals stats too much for this season, but great work again and congrats to whomever gets voted in their respective categories come the season end.

@canonico Love your work here! Especially that you translated the QB-stats into the NFL-QB-rating. Thank you very much!

WoW this build is incredible! At least he gets a lot of money for his work (if not franchised) !

Maybe now i understand why i loose the important games and stay out of the Top 100 Salarys...

Just another "hint" that single skill monsters do work and do damage

Unbelivable, i do round build guys and think im on right track but they can not even catch a ball when throw to them over a yard
