The MVP list that will go up for voting is updated in this thread OP. That doesn't mean it can't be changed.

So if you think you have a player that should be in the MVP voting list, make a case for him in this thread only please. The deadline for presenting new players to go on the list will be Tuesday October 9th, that gives everyone 3 days to make a case that their player should be on the list that is going up for voting.

Now I will create a new thread with the list of MVP candidates only, and would like to ask of everyone not to post on that thread, simply because it will be for statistical research for the voters only. It will also contain the link to where everyone that is interested can go and vote.

Thanks in advance, I will try to ask Admin to see if it's possible to make the other thread stickie so it won't get buried until the vote deadline.

Ah excellent! Haven't been in the thread for a while and was going to make a case for Scott Graham bt he's already there!

@ only 20yo expect big things from him and my other DE Sam Maher (also 20yo) in the future!

EDIT:
Forgot to thank you Canonico for putting the time and effort into creating this! Great idea, and great work!

Glad you like it, and your player deserved teh recognition. After that it's up to the voters if he deserves the Defensive MVP for Sea Devils 1.1 League.

Canonico,

I would like to put forward a player of mine for consideration for Admirals 1.1 Defensive MVP - he has been outstanding for me in my first season in 1.1 and i think his stats match up well - the decision is fully yours if you do include him or not and will be respected either way - but if you wouldnt mind at least reviewing his stats id appreciate it :

Rubin Reaves - Burton Redskins 24y/o LB -

Rubin Reaves

Games : 16
Plays : 817

Tackles : 74
Missed : 18
Success : 80.4

Sacks : 2
INTS : 8
Fumbles Forced : 1

Def TD : 6

He doesn't have the body of work of some of the other QBs in Sea Devils 1.1 (decided to split time between two guys), but he's been fantastic for me all season. Almost 20% TD percentage, with 13.3 yard per pass. He's been king of the long ball

Colin Fennell

Games - 15
Plays - 480
Pass Attempts - 86
Completions - 49
Completions Percentage - 57%
TD’s - 17
TD% - 19.8%
Total Yards - 1142
Fumbles - 0
Average - 13.3 Yards Per Pass
Interceptions Thrown - 3
INT% - 3.4%
NFL QB Rating - 126.7

Definately worth it MTS, totally missed him, but it's normal with so many players to look at some get pushed aside. It's now added to the list in this thread and also to the other thread.

I also added Fennell, aldo I didn't missed him the first time, my reason not to place him on the list at first was simply based on his lack of passing attempts, he didn't even reached 100, but I guess it's unfair for him not to be there based on that because I didn't placed a cutoff number. And when he did threw the ball he did it well and usually for long distances. So also added to both threads.

PS: Great work on both providing the stats, makes my work easier, I just changed the QB rating/INT% & TD% to reflect the decimal, but only because I did so with all others. Both of you did a great job providing info.

Well deadline to present and make a case for players as gone by.

So Let's launch the voting!

Here's how it works, it's simple, you vote for one player of each league both offensively and defensively, that means 16 votes total. After that you finish your survey on the bottom (I think). That's it, on the survey page I only have each player names, so you need to use this thread to see the stats if you don't know who you are voting for.

Vote here ->VOTE ON THE UNNOFFICIAL SEASON 5 MVP'S

PS: If you experience any problems or notice something missing in the voting survey let me know by posting here or dropping me a PM. Voting will take place until the end of season 5 (October 28th), results will be known in the 1st day of season 6 (November 1st), I will post them in a new thread, and will try take screenshots of the results so that everyone knows them, and to have no doubts about the outcome.

Thanks.

VOTE RUBIN REAVES FOR ADMIRALS 1.1 DEFENSIVE MVP!!!!!!

HERES WHY!!!!

1) Rubin plays for a team only in its second full season on existence - BOT flushed up to 1.1 in a league that contains mighty teams such as High Fives, Full Floters, Galrauch Raiders, Dapper Dandies. Cheshire Cats, Sinna Ladd Tromso, Flying Donkeys and MANY more

2) Despite this horror opposition for such a young team, Rubin was at the centerpin of a defense which saw them concede 20+ points only 3 times all season - with NO BOT teams faced (although the Canopi Miners admittedly did tank)

3) Rubin is the ONLY Admirals 1.1 candidate to have a sack, INT and Fumble recorded to him - all others have 1 or 2 of them - NOT ALL THREE!!

4) Rubin almost single handedly won a crucial Divisional game against the Springheel Jacks - turning in a 4th quarter and Overtime performance of Herculean proportions that turned a defeat into a win - which almost assured us of 1.1 survival in our first season despite a brutal schedule - see how he did it, especially with about 8 mins left in the game, plus overtime HERE

5)......well i dont have a number 5 but i dont need it because 1), 2), 3) and 4) are all so damn good!!!!!!

Vote Rubin Reaves! No disrespect to my other opponents but they are all in better and higher ranked teams than me and he deserves this recognition

My thanks again to Canonico for his awesome effort with all this - he should get an award also IMO!!!!!!!!
