Why'd you stop bidding on this guy?

Considering the ridiculousness of the TM, I thought he would cost more.

I was bidding on him - didn't think a 20yo with only 25 TW and not very developed skills was worth that much just for good strength.

He'll be the strongest player on my entire team, by a frankly embarrassing margin.

i didn't check my player's final price until I read this thread. I didn't expect that much for him, but each team has different opinions on what a player is worth. Plus if he's now your strongest player by far, then I understand your bid.

I've been very careful on my transfer spending, until recently. I've only bought a player for over 1 million four times since I joined before season 1, and all of those were in the last five months. It's getting a little harder to win auctions on great players, but there are still some deals if you're looking close enough and have some patience training them.

Yeah, there's a sort of a quantum leap there imo. I do not like the idea of spending over $5M (and particularly $10M) for a non draft player. And particularly not just for spd/str. If a skill is well trained then that's a little different. But even then there would need to be good spd or strength of course.

The problem isn't with the TM tho, it's the (lack of?) economy management in this game. Too much income and too small payments - at least where I am in the game right now. Will this change? Cuz I've gone from $-500k to $52mil in like 3 weeks, after upgrading stadium to max.

well, since this game will (hopefully) always aquire new users to the game, there will always be a relevant portion of members with lots of cash in their stacks...so i donĀ“t think the prices will go down at all

Haha okay, thanks. I'll keep that in mind and try to not spend everything in the market
