Btw, I hope I'm where you're at in a couple of seasons!

I'm assuming the number in his username has a meaning.

Can I ask a personal question? What is your age? I am serious about that.

I am 9

I think this says it all to close this thread. I don't always agree with what sfiner says but that response is direspectful to those who have taken the time to offer a constructive arguement to this suggestion. Least of all sfiner but I do recall a lack of respect coming a few months ago

Well, if I was 99, I'd be in a bit of a rush to reach parity in the game, too - 1 RL year is a lot at 99!!

Seriously - it just takes a bit of patience and investing the time to learn the game so you can make smart training and drafting decisions.

Good teams leave the game every season. Claymore 1.1 lost: Tigres de Nancy, Claymore Knights, Braves, and Dyniak this season. Two of them were Sept 2011 teams, and one started 2 months later. That is four fewer teams you have to catch up to.

All that said, I'd still like to see new managers get some kind of reward for finishing the Manager license (and maybe even a second reward for finishing one complete RL year, too). Getting a great player to build your team around is a sweet incentive to stay in the game.

A second reward after a RL year is way to late. By then the team will be plenty strong. After first full season would make a lot more sense
