So we know, that player play out of position get penalty on skills
But let say i have CB Coach and no SF Coach And when then i play a CB at SF (out of position) This player gets penalty for out of position since this is total clear in manual and i think so also in engine, but do he gets: a) additional penalty for not have SF Coach because he is play SF b) bonus because he is a CB with CB coach on team irrespective of what he plays I ask because watch teams with no listed SF on team having though huge ingame % But because of the new learning, that on my team just 1-2 total play of 1-2 weaker SFs on position SF can pull down % for 2+ (player on position and Coaches for it) and in comparison with no-SF teams then it started make me ask this Also when look at scoreboard the player played SF though list on scoreboard at CB and manual say for coaches: Coaches affect the game play ...In the engine, a coach you hired makes your players do better, of course he affects only those positions he is in charge of. A not hired coach slot makes your players perform worse. Only positions he is in charge - Boxscore shows the player play at SF as CB -> so penalty for him, or despite out position gets CB coach bonus? The logic for sure is: he gets no CB Coach bonus, but additional "SF no Coach" malus, what then should result into a huge drop of performance But from observation i do not see evidence for this happening Thanks for checking/clarification/hints |

I asked pete this question a while back.
The answer was that you do not get the benefit of a CB-AC for a CB playing out of position. You get the out of position penalty. There is no further penalty or benefit from anything else. So comparison - CB with CB-AC playing at CB get benefit of CB-AC and no OOP penalty. CB with CB-AC playing not at CB gets no benefit from CB-AC and get the OOP penalty. |

I beleive that is simply poor wording. When it says "perform worse" they simply mean no bonus.
That part of the manual probably needs a little work. Or I simply am not understanding it either. But again, I'm pretty sure I covered this with pete b4 too. Last edited on 2012-10-12 06:30:12 by hosh13 |
