Hey, thanks! I just need a pm with the list of players and their positions in your front 7 who played season 5 (or 4) in one position. (Backups are okay, but not tweeners who played some snaps at DE and some at DT, or switched players who played 5 games at LB and 5 on at DE.) Just NAME - POS is enough, i can get the stats myself....  |

This is a good idea...but I think works better in Baseball or Basketball where more of the game is described by statistics. I'm not sure how you compute this DVOA for interior D-Linemen (just based on tackles and misses?). There are no sacks for them, no tackles for a loses etc.

That is true, DVOA can only look at what is measureable. Interior lineman have tackles and misses, but also expected models for forced fumbles for instance and for how many times they are (or should be) around the ball. Tackles for loss are not in it, yes, Just like pass breakups for DBs, simply because we don't have those stats available...  |

Thanks for all the feedback so far, I have integrated all of it in the baselines now and they look better and better!
I still would like to get two or three more teams into the database, since some positions are still a bit thin... So if anyone else wants to contribute, please feel free! |
