I think it would be good if the maximum for a player salary is capped. Somethink like 5% more of what the player expect or that you can't pay more than the player expect.
I saw this morning a player in the mag with a salary of 25 Mio$ per week. A cap could be a protection in the case you type too much "0's". |

No. If managers want to throw money at players (either intentionally or unintentionally) then that's their problem .....and if they offer way too much salary for a player then they'll learn the hard way and never do it again. And there are parallels in real life ..... the enormous contract to Albert Haynesworth .... the Redskins obviously thought he was worth tens/hundreds of millions whilst plenty of others thought he was a fat, idle lump with disciplinary and attitude problems. |

Yes, it is thze managers duty, he gets an overview of the contract he has to confirm, so it is his/her fail. On the other hand...mistakes happen, and you have to protect people |

Everyone can make a mistake though when doing this but this will probably cost him his draft players in the offseason. Players could even leave because they made a mistake like this because he cant afford to fire him. |

That sounds better actually. Should be high enough that it's not annoying you everytime you are negotiating a contract and low enough that it won't bankrupt you if you make a mistake...
