Towards the end of the end of the season you have to clear room for draft picks and 20 year old YA promotes whilst not knowing who you are going to draft and who will announce retirement. Both of which will impact on who you are going to cut/sell.
How about in last 2 weeks of season leading up to the first game of season, you lose the roster limit. It would be senior players only (keep it for youth). Would mirror real life when in pre-season NFL teams have 80 man rosters and need to get it down to 53 for the start of the season. |

You don't have to cut room for your Drafties BEFORE the draft. You can add them and after that reduce your roster to 70. Don't know the contract mode story of that situation, but without contract mode you can have more. |
