Well...good luck, today he simply stomped over me

My Athletics definitely played their worst SC-game this season (maybe ever)...nevertheless, since you only play as good as your opponent allows you to do his Fives are truely worth winning the triple crown

Should I link this game to the "new egnine discussion"?

Let us simply hope the new-engine finals are not that one-sided...

Not a single pass! Now THAT'S flawed!

No surprise at the result either. The Fives juggernaught is in full swing after a few seasons with those super coaches.

Wasn't it a few seasons ago that St. Loius Rams won the superbowl with an average defence, no running attack but the leagues top QB and WRs at the time? If you have a strength then you would play to it. If it cant be stopped is that the fault of High Fives policy. Looking at the history of the Supercup though no team has won it twice. Only Landru Athletics have played two finals. Five teams have made 2 semi final appearances (Landru, SF, High Fives, Budapest Wolves, and Mighty Magpies). Mighty Magpies have been to the final 8 four times out of five, Cameroon Turtles have been there three times. That is quite an even spread considering the relative youth of the game.

Imo, the game has reached an equilibrium and running/runD kills.

Are you saying that 0 passes is a fluke?

No I am saying that it's a well thought out strategy based upon the strength of his team. He knows he has an uber strong running offence and a great front 7. He plays a 5-3-3 defence also so that leaves his defensive backs short on cover. His pass D is only rated at 56% (mines 54.5%) and he doesnt appear to have any stand out players there. You can pass over that in this engine!

The hard part is going to be stopping his run offence more times than he stops your passing offence.

Well thanks for clearing that up for us - I thought their tactics/rosters might have been based on the behavior of the engine.

if its such a bad passing engine and completely impossible why did you throw so many times? 2500 yards isnt bad when you can't pass. Have you uploaded Joe Montana and Jerry Rice to your roster?
