From the Manual:
"If you forget to assign a position or no player is present due to injury, then a player from the same position group out of the IDC will be selected. If no player for this position group is available, the engine selects randomly from the IDC." in other words: If you have not enough WR as WR on the DC, than the engine look first for other WR in the Ingame DC (IDC). If there are still no free WR than the engine pick a random player from the IDC. |

Ok, but now I'm going to say I do support the original suggestion in this thread, or the 'injury cover' check box idea. Either would be an improvement.
I'm looking forward to redoing my DC and moving a bunch of guys to Kicker or Punter so they won't be used except to cover for injuries, but really that set up seems a little silly. There's got to be a 'cleaner' way of doing it.  |

sorry at work and trying not to get caught. Are you reporting on my post about playing reserve WR at KR?
While its a cheap way out I think until something can be altered regarding substitutions etc I think this should remain the case |

There was a plan to give you a marker on the right side of the dc, per player. You could mark backups, and they come in the field if the "no backups" are not available due whatever...
But this means some changes in the engine, for the roster management and substitutions...and I preferred doing the V2 first... |
