I have read alot of discussions about how long the engine takes to read and adjust to oppositions playcalling and thought i would throw this suggestion out there.

Experience does not need to change as it's pretty self explainatory and consistency could relate to how well he/she (to be politically correct) reads what they see from their opponents formations.

Traits could be added to boost certain formations and play types run from that set, for example an x% bonus on run plays from a pro set formation. Of course the opposite for the defense.

Another thought could be that they could strengthen one zone of the field. By this i mean short, medium and long passing, running the line and flat.

Would love to hear thoughts on this idea. I think it gives an opportunity to boost lower skilled players while giving lots of extra tactical elements to consider. Especially when it comes to divisional games.

I like the idea of co-ordinators is good. It would also take some money out of the game.

Not certain about traits but if they was going to be included a co-ordinator could prefer a particular play from a set formation ie pass from the i formation and the QB could get a bonus for that (no more than 1% in my opinion)

I love this suggestion!

This would mean a difference between identical coaches as far as CP/EXP/CON goes.

Not a bad idea.

Could probably be simplified by simply adding various characteristics to the ACs.

eg LB AC - Run Stopping (meaning this coach boosts run D)

So managers could further taylor their teams via this. It would make coach hiring more interesting, that's for sure.

Same could apply to the HC - balanced, ST, O or D biased.

your alteration wont take the money out of the savers accounts though. Co Ordinators means more coaches

It actually could. ACs with multiple "characteristics" could be worth big bucks!

You cant add traits to existing coaches employed and hold out your hand asking for an extra $200k an update. If you add these co ordinators they will be entirely new so you can say they will cost extra

This sounds like a cool Idea.
But the real question is weather to add the positions of O and D coordinators.Which means having to add some Coaches point

Or add traits and possible be-able to pick which AC would act as the O and D coordinators during a game

I actually think a good way to get money out of the game is to take all of the restrictions off the coaches i.e. no 550 CP restriction.

Then add HC/AC traits that further add to the cost/power of HC/ACs and you add depth of strategy and give rich teams a chance to blow their money fast!

So long as this didn't result in dynasties, can't see why not.

It also would feel a bit more real to be able to have a full set of coaches.

Allowing more than 550 CP NO WAY!

Having a full set of AC's NO WAY!

Adding OC and DC ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE (We discussed it before the ACs were introduced)

Adding Special traits for AC's This is a good point and I like this suggestion
