Should it take 4 games? 8? 16? Should a player be able to integrate without even playing a game, by just being part of the squad? Should it be dependent on the number of snaps the player gets?

Same question of youth players. how long before a promoted youth player integrates with the senior squad?

Note that I'm not asking how long it takes currently, but how long it should take in principle.

Edit: title got cut off, should finish as "...new team?"

It´s only a kind of math and in which games a new player plays. You mean the team chemistry, right?

every league game TC increase by 5% every SC game 7,5% and every friday friendly 2%. The player needs to play one snap minimum in the game to get the TC increase.

See the note I made in the OP. Yes, I'm talking about TC, but I'm canvassing opinion about how it should work, not how it works currently.

I don't think there's anything wrong with the current TC gain.

Except maybe that the league and supercup gain should be switched.

Now you're thinking

My point was that it takes quite a while to gain the 90% TC needed to go from 10 > 100.

This is especially prevalent with youth players. I have 5-6 young guys who are in my senior squad, but aren't rounded enough to play regularly. Therefore, I can only risk playing them during CPU games, which might only occur 5-6 times a season, giving 30-40% TC gain per season.

This means it might take them over two seasons to get to 100% TC. To me, that seems excessive.

TC is an underdeveloped mechanic in RZA. It should take into account far more factors than it currently does.

For example, should a player with high teamwork have their TC increase more quickly than a guy with low TW?

I think so, as a good team players is likely to get on better with his other teammates, therefore becoming integrated with the squad more quickly.

The current system, as Nogard said, values cup games more than league games. I think the actual tournament you are playing isn't that important for team chemistry, but very important for experience gain.

All official games should give a certain amount of TC, with friendlies should give a lower rate of TC, as they do currently.

If you're not a big transfer market guy, you probably won't run into these problems. I just think TC could do with a reworking.

I agree it could do with a revamp but when a player is aquired through the draft or FA in the NFL sometimes they just do not settle and are moved on so maybe it could be:-

number of games * teamwork * one of Petes famous random factors

I still think age should factor into how quickly a player can achieve 100% TC, for the simple reason that I think I would help newer teams when signing older players.

I made posted as much to the Suggestion forum but it didn't seem to get much interest.

I'd like to see older players (like 28+ or 29+) who are purchased on the TM arrive at their new team with 60% TC instead of the current 10%. This is the TC that Draft players arrive with.

I just think it'd would make those older player on the TM more attractive to managers.

This could be included in the changes. Probably 50% rather than 10%.

Just to summerize this: You think the current system is not OK and you simply asking for a faster way to gain TC?

It's a managment game, you know?
If everything is presented on a plate, it doesn't help.

The current system might me not perfect, but it works and everyone has to deal with it.

I think the current system is ok except the 10% for the YA guys. I don´t understand why a player that is within the system of the franchise has 10% TC to start and a guy that comes out of nowhere (draft) has 60%.
